Yuzu and Wagashi

“Wa” means Japan and “Gashi (or Kashi)” means sweets. So, Wagashis are Japanese sweets or traditional Japanese confections that are often served with green tea. Most of all Wagashis are made of mochi (sweet rice cake), Anko (bean paste), and fruit. No doubt these are best accompanied by any of Den’s Teas including our seasonal Yuzu Kukicha with Matcha. These Wagashis are created by Fugetsu-Do, a family-owned and operated confectionery store specializing in Japanese treats and mochi since 1903 in Little Tokyo in Los Angles.
